The museum, in the university town of Louvain-la-Neuve (30 minute drive southeast of Brussels), is built in the shape of an elongated prism that seems to float on the forest of ancient trees. Construction began on November 7, 2007 to commemorate Herg\u00e9\u2019s 100th birthday.
