Within sight of the iconic Lion Mound at Waterloo, it&#8217;s half an hour from both the center of Brussels and Charleroi airport. Everything about this sprawling 45-hole parkland complex feels exclusive: the greens and fairways are exceptionally well tended, and no fewer than five holes are visible from the clubhouse terrace. The principal course is the wooded, rolling, trap-laden La Marache, which was extensively redesigned in recent years to restore it to championship standard. Rated as a par 73, it ranks among Europe&#8217;s top 200 courses, and the adjacent 18-holer, Le Lion, is almost as impressive.
